Strive Kids Fitness Canberra Term II

Term II starting next Monday 29th April

All our sessions at CrossFit SFS in Hume are all inclusive and general and are scalable for any participant at any level.

Classes are designed to accommodate Kids & Teens of all fitness levels.

Your little ones will become faster and stronger in any chosen sport.

Here at CrossFit SFS, we are a family based CrossFit Box, we have two kids of our own, and they to train wherever possible, and will lead by example.

We are now taking enrollments for term 2 for our Strive Kids fitness program at CrossFit SFS, Hume, Canberra!


Starting Mon 29th April

So if you think this type of program is for your child, please bring them along on either Mon 4th Feb @ 4.10pm (5-9 year olds) or Wed 6th Feb @ 4pm (10 – 15 year olds)

Where: CrossFit SFS
43 Sheppard St, Hume ACT
Junior Strive : Mon 4.10pm 
Teen Strive : Wed 4.00pm 

1st session is FREE if they have not been before

Cost : $140 per term (paid in advance on the 4th or 6th Feb)

Oh & PS, parents, we happen to also run a variety of adult classes for the Mum’s & Dad’s! From 45 min HIIT (high Intensity Interval Training – like F45 but with weights), Weightlifting, outdoor Boot Camps & CrossFit (all of which can be scaled to suit any individual’s fitness/skill level.

Here is the catch, for the first two weeks, if one of your developing stars sign up for the school term, YOU can come and train for FREE for the first 2 weeks

CrossFit SFS workout of the day

Warm Up (5-15 mins):
3 rounds of:
10 Good Mornings (Empty barbell)
5 x Inchworm Push-ups
10 Stiff Legged Deadlifts (Empty barbell, finish just below knee cap)
10 x Shoulder Taps (5 per arm)
10 x Glute Bridges
10 x V-ups
10 x Squats


3-4 warm up sets building up to starting clean pull weight

Strength/ Skill (15-35 mins):
Clean Pull
5 x 3

WOD (35-55 mins):
Run 200m
10 Push-ups
10 Hang Squat Cleans (60/40kg)
10 Push-ups

Scaling Options:
Run: Row 250/200m or Assault Bike 15/10 cals
Push-up: reduce reps to 5 at a time, knee push-up, push-up to a target
Hang Squat clean: reduce weight, use dumbbells, Hang Power clean + Front Squat
