Mon 26/11 : Strive Weightlifting Canberra

Well done to all the lifters that competed here at Strive Weightlifting Club over the weekend, was great to watch some awesome lifts.

Warm Up
One round with a broomstick, then 1 with the bar
– 10 x Good Mornings
– 5 x Snatch Grip DL
– 5 x Snatch Pull (shoulders only)
– 5 x Snatch High Pull
– 5 x Muscle Snatch
– 5 x Overhead Squats
– 5 x Power Snatch
– 5 x Overhead Squats
– 5 x Squat Snatch

Strength/ Skill (15-35mins)
Power Snatch + Squat Snatch
6 x 1

WOD (35-50 mins)
4 rounds for time of:
5 Devil Press (22.5/15kg)
10 Toes-to-Bar
5 Devil Press
10 Burpees

Time cap: 15 minutes

Scaling Options:
Devil Press: reduce DB weight
Toes-to-Bar: reduce reps to 5 per round, hanging knee raise, v-ups, sit-ups
Burpee: kickback burpee (no push-up), step down/ step up burpee
