CrossFit SFS : 2020 set to be HUGE for Canberra Gym

We are really looking forward to what will be a HUGE 2020 for CrossFit SFS, Strive 45, Strive Weightlifting.

Starting with a whole range of new equipment on its way as we continue to lead the way as one of Canberra’s premier Fitness facilities.

No we are not the newest, no we don’t have polished marble floors or beautiful timber hanging on the walls, no air conditioning.

What we do have is a huge passion for fitness and to help you ‘move your needle forward’ for life, your chosen sport, anything you need!
We have amazingly huge, tidy space with some of biggest variety of programming, great coaches to actually coach you each time you enter the facility (not just a TV screen for you to work off like most NEW facilities with a cheer leader in front of you), and the best equipment for all types of functional fitness training.

Oh and soon to be 24hr a day, 7 days a week!!!

CrossFit SFS – Workout of the day

Warm-up: (5-15 mins):

2 min cardio of choice
3 rounds:
10 x RDL (5 per leg, can use weight if you wish)
10 x Single Leg Glute Bridges (5 per leg)
10 x KB Windmills (5 per side)
10 x Russian KB Swings


Warmup to opening set of Deadlifts


Deadlift (5 x 5)

Snatch Balance (3 x 3)

Metcon: (35-50 mins):

5 rounds for time:
12 DB Deadlifts (22.5/15kg)
12 Dumbbell Push Press (22.5/15kg)
12 Dumbbell Lunges (22.5/15kg)
Time cap: 15 minutes

Core Finisher
3 x 15 side bends ea sides
3 x 15 AB mat weighted sit ups
3 x 15 GHD sit ups
